Meet Gina—licensed dog walker, animal lover, and founder of Colt & Co. Inspired by her own dog Colt, Gina started her business to offer reliable, compassionate dog walking and pet boarding services for her community. She wanted a website that would reflect her warm, down-to-earth approach and make it easy for pet parents to find and book the services they need.
Strategic Goals
Because Gina’s offerings were focused and local, she didn’t need a large or complex website. Her goals were simple:
- Create a one-page site with clear, scannable content
- Share essential information about services and pricing
- Make it easy for visitors to contact her right away
- Add a personal touch with visuals, including an Instagram feed
- Ensure the site was easy to manage without tech overwhelm
Project Highlights
Gina’s original site didn’t align with her goals, brand, or timeline—so we started fresh with a clean, user-friendly one-page design. We highlighted her core offerings in a way that was easy to skim, placed her contact details front and center, and built the layout to work beautifully on mobile.
To help her keep things fresh without extra effort, we integrated her Instagram feed directly into the site so she could share daily updates, adorable pup photos, and service availability—all in real time.
Behind the scenes, we took care of web hosting, domain transfers, and email setup, giving Gina full ownership and a simple backend she could manage herself. The best part? She loved the small touches—like the custom favicon—that made the site feel like hers in every detail.
